Overview

This carrier-class device is an ideal solution for Tier 3 service providers who want to extend the advantages of MPLS to corporate customers who want the security of a transparent LAN across multiple sites. Designed as a provider edge device, the T-Metro 7224 could also replace larger chassis-based solutions which require not only more rack space but also consume more power.

The T-Metro 7224 is equipped with a full complement of Ethernet OAM tools to support end-to-end service management and ensure true quality of service in the metro access network. These OAM features plus HQoS offer the mechanisms needed to ensure service delivery regardless of bandwidth availability.
